Following a shooting in Langley on Monday night, a 36-year-old man was taken to the hospital.

At around 8:45 p.m., Langley RCMP received a report of shots fired in the area of 204th Street and Fraser Highway.

The shooting victim was discovered near the Cascades Casino at 20393 Fraser Hwy. and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police. The man, whose identity was protected, was later released from the hospital.

Langley RCMP Sgt. Rebecca Parslow said in a statement that,

“Investigators believe this to be a targeted and isolated incident with no further risk to public safety.”
