(Nasdaq Capital Market®: CNTY) (“Century Casinos” or the “Company”) announced that on June 10, 2021, operations at Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton, Century Casino St. Albert, Century Mile Racetrack and Casino, Century Downs Racetrack and Casino, and Century Sports Calgary reopened.
On December 13, 2020, all casinos in Alberta were closed to comply with a quarantine enforced by the Alberta government to stop the spread of COVID-19. Social distancing practices and increased health and safety protocols based on Alberta Health Services principles are included in the regulation lifting the lockdown for casinos. There’s no guarantee the Alberta government won’t require for further closures in the future. The company’s casinos in the United States and Poland are now open.
