Recently, Great Canadian Gaming Corp. has been acquired by Apollo Funds. One of the first changes that Great Canadian Gaming Corp. went through is a staff change. From now, Antony Rodio will be the new CEO of the company as he replaced Terrance Doyle.
Established in 1982, the company hails from Ontario and oversees many properties all across the nation. Great Canadian Gaming Corp. oversees various gaming properties in Ontario, B.C. New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
Chairman of the Board of Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, Alex van Hoek, has welcome mister Rodio aboard. Van Hoek believes that Antony Rodio is one of the industry’s most renowned executives. Van Hoek also said he believes that mister Rodio will greatly improve the company’s performance.
Antony Rodio is an experienced executive. Rodio has been a part of the industry for 40 years. Before coming to Great Canadian Gaming Corp. he served as CEO of Caesars Entertainment Corporation. While working there, Rodio led the company from April 2019 to its acquisition by Eldorado Resorts in July 2020.
Rodio stated that he is pleased to be working for such an incredible gaming and entertainment brand. He also said that he is excited to lead the company into new ventures.
