The Hotel Maison du Fort, European atmosphere, and award-winning service, await you. The Maison du Fort was established in the Georgian style in 1851 by architect Charles Baillargé. It has since been changed into a most comfortable hotel that provides a choice of 9 rooms and operates with the distinctive personal touch of the owner who has been helping an international clientele for 25 years.

The hotel is located in the walled city, a block away from the historic Chateau Frontenac and the Citadel. It is within walking distance of many of the city’s most famous cultural sites, museums, restaurants, and Cathedrals. The Maison du Fort is stunning views over the St Lawrence River, the Island of Orleans, and Quebec’s harbor, and it is just stepping away from the Dufferin Terrace.

Moreover, the hotel is central to everything, the city and the surrounding area has to offer. You will be close to the musical venues of the renowned Winter Carnaval and Festival d’été, the Jazz Festival. Hiking and biking trails criss-cross The Plains of Abraham and the City. They cover along the river shore from the Montmorency Falls in the east to the Quebec Bridge in the west through the very popular Promenade de Champlain.
