Lucky B Mine scored a victory at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Tuesday afternoon. Although the horse drew post 8, Luck B Mine once again flashed early speed to overcome her outside post. After a somewhat slower start, the mare closed up the inside and tracked down pacesetting North Country and the favored So Diva to score her third win in her last four starts.
In the last five races, Luck B Mine ended up first or second and earned over $20,000 in those starts.
Luck B Mine is owned by Steve Guido of Cicero, N.Y. and Don Stockwell of Hudson Falls, N.Y. The horse has proved to be of tremendous value to its owners as it continues scoring victories throughout the season. Luck B Mine, who paid $6.80 to win on Tuesday, led an exacta and triple that returned $14.60 and $92, respectively.
The next race at Saratoga is scheduled for September 4th.
