Obituary for Ronald Michael « Ron » Kokotilo
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Kokotilo at 63 years of age on January 29, 2021.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Cathy; furry friend, Nicki; mother, Olga; brother and sister, Larry (Lydia) and Venetia (Wally); sister-in-law, Barb; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Predeceased by his father, Peter; and brother, Brad (Lorna).
His colleagues in the glass industry in which he has worked for over 40 years will deeply miss Ron. For the last 25 years, he has been a part owner of Bahry’s glass, and his family would miss him at Flynn Canada, where he has spent the last 14 years.
He loved cooking, playing golf and visiting the casino. Cathy, the love of his life, misses a date night at the Riverbank Bistro every Tuesday.
Special thanks for their care and compassion to the St. Albert RCMP Fire and Ambulance Service; and to the Flynn family for all their support during this difficult period.
Due to the existing Covid 19 limitations, a Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held at a later date.
Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to a charity of the choice of the donor or to Barker’s Pet Motel, 27 Riel Drive, St. Albert, AB, T8N 3Z2.
Ron, you are forever loved and greatly missed.
