Softweave announced its entry into the Canadian gaming scene on Monday, introducing Winafar, the company’s newest innovation.
Winafar is a software program that allows casino players to play at physical slot machines without having to enter a casino.
Customers will benefit from afar using their desktop computers and mobile devices thanks to Softweave’s revolutionary technology.
The launch of Winafar in Canada was made possible after Softweave secured a strategic partnership with RBY Gaming, a Canadian distributor.
The Winafar software can be installed on land-based slot machines. The toll uses cameras and a microphone to capture sounds and reels in order to simulate a real casino environment.
Operators can control the slot machine using their computer, tablet, or smartphone using the software and a Winfar box that can be plugged into the cabinet. The Winafar-abled slot titles are accessible through the website or the lobby of a current casino webpage.
Softweave launched the software in New Jersey in 2020, and it has already received positive feedback from local players, particularly those who are new to the game. Industry Observers have also recognized the software, naming it the innovation of the year at the B2B EGR awards and the EGR America Awards 2020.
