The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation reports that the Lotto Max main prize has been won, making Canada’s latest lottery multi-millionaire. The jackpot amounts to the impressive total of CA$44,023,273.40, and its single winner was determined during Tuesday’s draw.

The ticket holder resides in Ontario, more specifically in Toronto.

The Lotto Max game is a weekly drawn lottery game in which players must correctly guess all seven winning numbers to earn the top prize. The game’s draws take place every Tuesday and Friday. The jackpot could reach a staggering CA$70,000,000, and players can also win one of several CA$1,000,000 Maxmillion prizes.

Main Prize Claimed

The Lotto Max jackpot will be reset to its beginning amount after a single winning ticket was sold in the province on Wednesday, according to the Crown corporation. The winner, however, is still unknown to the public and the Crown, and he may not even realize it. The lucky ticket holder will now be worth a total of CA$44 million.

All players should check their tickets on OLG.ca, the OLG App, or by contacting them directly, according to the Crown agency. The winning numbers in Tuesday’s draw, according to the corporation, were 2, 13, 15, 19, 38, 39, and 46.

The next Lotto Max jackpot will be CA$10,000,000. The next Lotto Max will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021.

In addition, the OLG informed of an expiring to cash out a CA$10,000 Lotto Max ticket. Someone from Etobicoke bought the ticket, and it will shortly expire because lottery rewards have a 52-week claim period. The Encore ticket was purchased on August 4, 2021, but the owner has yet to contact the corporation.

The agency reminds all players in the region to double-check their existing tickets or check their pockets for an Encore Lotto Max ticket that has expired. The winning numbers in the prize draw were 4-0-3-6-3-3-5, and the ticket corresponded to the first six numbers in the sequence. The player has until August 4 to contact the corporation and receive their prize of CA$10,000.

York Winner

The last Lotto Max jackpot winner’s name was revealed by the OLG last week. The former military Jansen Ng from East Gwillimbury is now a lotto multi-millionaire as he claimed his CA$65 million cheque. The winner intends to buy himself a new electric car and has big plans to help charity organizations and fellow military members like himself.

Mega Prize Shared

Prior to Mr. Ng’s winning the Lotto Max jackpot amounted to CA$70 million and it took a couple of weeks before some finally claimed it.

The jackpot was split between two people who bought tickets. Gary Hill from Kamloops, B.C., was the first, and the other is still unknown, though his location is somewhere in Ontario. Both winners will receive the hefty amount of CA$35 million each.
