On Sunday, January 31, beginning at 7:00 p.m. (EST), the 2020 Virtual O’Brien Awards Gala will be broadcast live on standardbredcanada.ca, right here.
Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals, Efficient Supplements Through Science, and Woodbine Mohawk Park co-sponsors carry the online stream, made possible by Standardbred Canada, to you.
Ken Middleton and Jason Portuondo will host the Virtual O’Brien Awards Gala and feature live cut-ins with some of the finalists and winners, along with cut-ins from Red Shores Racetrack Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park hosting a VIP Gala.
For audiences to participate in the Virtual Gala, there will be lots of opportunities. On January 31, in advance of the Virtual Gala, along with links to the Online Silent Auction and Virtual Photo Gallery, a digital O’Brien Awards program available for viewing online will be updated.
Starting with the Red Carpet Live coverage with host Kelly Spencer, live from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., you can follow all of the action of Canada’s national harness racing awards event. (EST), on the Facebook page at standardbredcanada.ca and SC. When they arrive at the Virtual Red Carpet, Kelly will be interviewing some of the finalists and special guests.
At 6:30 p.m. (EST) There will be a 30-minute intermission and during that break, we will also have video greetings available to watch at your leisure.
