On September 25, Woodbine Entertainment will host the upcoming Mohawk Million and Metro Pace races. Hosted by Mark McKelvie, the draw for the races has been already held on September 20. The fans had a chance to watch the draw live through any simulcasting location or at the company’s official website.

Mohawk Million will feature lots of competitive and capable horses. The horse with the best spot is King of The North, trained by Ray Schnittker. King’s driver is Mark MacDonald. The dynamic duo has earned the top spot in the draw because of the win of the CA$640,000 William Wellwood Memorial on September 11.

The undefeated Venerable will also participate in this race from post-position number 9. Duly Resolved will be starting Saturday’s race at post position number 8 while Selfie Queen will be at post 10. Valentina Blu will start at post position number 4, Southwind Domino will be at number 5 while Dover In Motion and The Might Hill will be at positions 6 and 7.

The CA$824,000 Metro Pace will feature twelve horses with Atlas Hanover starting at post 1. Then at number 2, we have Bob Loblaw, followed by Many Moons at 3, and Fourever Boy at 4.

Woodbine Entertainment announced that it supports the new regulations recently announced by the government of Ontario. The company’s Woodbine Racetrack, Casino Woodbine, Woodbine Mohawk Park Racetrack, Elements Casino Mohawk, Greenwood Teletheatre, and WEGZ Stadium Bar will require its staff to present proof of full vaccination upon entry.
